Graduate Students
Welcome to the OUISoc Graduate Community
Assallamu Alaikum,
The Graduate community in Oxford comprises of Masters, DPhils and mature Muslim students at Oxford. We also welcome any local community members who are keen to get involved with ISoc.
Oxford is of a wonderful place to study but sometimes it can be hard if you are a Muslim to adjust to the lifestyle and to meet like-minded people. The ISoc Graduate community is like one big family and we provide a variety of socials, discussion circles and other more general events for graduate students specifically. We also aim to cater for the concerns of international students.
We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford! If you have any questions, please look at one of the pages below or you can contact one of the ISoc Graduate team.

Welfare
As the Oxford University Islamic Society, we recognise that members come from a variety of backgrounds and during the course of study, their circumstances may change. We take the welfare of our members seriously and we encourage you to report any special circumstances that may affect your mental, physical or emotional health. The reports are taken into account in the earliest possible instance. For that reason, ISoc has two welfare officers for undergraduate and one officer for graduate students. The officers are trained to offer support and advice on a range of subjects.
